Job Title: History Teacher
Locations: Sheffield
Payrate: £155 - £220 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Are you passionate about bringing history to life and inspiring young learners? GSL Education is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic History Teacher to join secondary schools in Sheffield from September 2025. Share your love of the past and help students develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver lessons covering a broad range of historical periods and themes
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with a History specialism
• Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• DBS registered on the Update Service
• Passionate about history education and student development
