Job Title: RE Teacher

Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and insightful Religious Education Teacher to work in a supportive school in Sheffield starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an RE Teacher who values critical discussion, inclusivity, and the spiritual, moral, and cultural development of young people.
Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver thought-provoking and balanced RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage respectful dialogue, empathy, and deeper understanding of a range of faiths and philosophies.
- Promote spiritual, moral, social, and cultural awareness across the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance learning experiences.
Requirements for RE Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive teaching.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years with all employment gaps explained.
