Pay Rate: £155 - £220 per day (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that bring the digital world to life, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. You’ll support students in mastering programming, computing theory, and practical skills essential for today’s technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:

  • Plan and teach engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote digital literacy and safe, responsible use of technology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Support students’ personal development and career aspirations in STEM.

Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, including programming languages and computing theory.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stages or equivalent.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with no unexplained gaps.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
