Salary: £220 - £320 per day (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Lead Practitioner of Mathematics, your influence will extend far beyond the classroom:

Drive Curriculum Excellence: Craft a rigorous and engaging mathematics curriculum rooted in challenge, depth, and real-life application.

Model Best Practice: Deliver outstanding lessons that demonstrate high expectations, innovative pedagogy, and deep subject expertise.

Lead and Coach: Support and uplift colleagues through coaching, demonstration lessons, and CPD sessions to improve overall departmental outcomes.

Use Data for Impact: Identify gaps, personalise learning strategies, and lead data-informed interventions to ensure every student progresses.

Innovate with Purpose: Champion new teaching approaches grounded in evidence and educational research.

Collaborate for Success: Work closely with senior leaders and peers to align vision, share best practice, and create a culture of excellence in maths.
✅ What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a Lead Practitioner of Mathematics who brings both talent and tenacity:

UK QTS with a strong academic background in mathematics or a related field.

A proven track record of excellent teaching and raising achievement at secondary level.

Experience supporting and mentoring teachers to improve pedagogy and confidence.

A commitment to continuous development, innovation, and inclusive education.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
