Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a vibrant school in Sheffield starting September 2025. In this role, you will inspire students to express themselves creatively, helping them discover a range of artistic techniques and cultivate their individual styles. This Art Teacher role is ideal for a committed educator who enjoys fostering creativity and nurturing the artistic growth of young learners.
Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:
- Encourage imagination, self-assurance, and analytical thinking through a variety of artistic media and methods.
- Design lesson plans and evaluate student progress in accordance with national curriculum standards and exam requirements.
- Foster a welcoming, creative, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Support department-wide initiatives, including school art displays and extracurricular enrichment opportunities.
Requirements for Art Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience teaching Art in an educational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the subject and a genuine enthusiasm for the visual arts.
- Confident in managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships with students.
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
