Pay Rate: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are looking for a skilled and inspiring Design Technology Teacher to join a dynamic school in Sheffield starting September 2025. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will encourage students to develop hands-on skills and innovative problem-solving through practical and creative projects.
Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging DT lessons across Key Stages, including areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering.
- Inspire students to think critically, solve problems, and design creatively.
- Maintain and manage workshop tools, resources, and safety procedures.
- Contribute to the school’s STEM initiatives and cross-curricular projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
Candidate Requirements for Design Technology Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a UK school.
- Sound knowledge of health & safety protocols in a workshop setting.
- Ability to plan and deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years with explained gaps.
