Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Day to Day)

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our team for day-to-day cover roles in Doncaster. Whether you're an experienced TA or looking to gain more classroom exposure, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying flexibility in your schedule.
Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support pupils across key stages with their learning and engagement.
- Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour and resources.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with varying needs.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and follow school routines.
- Promote an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
