PE Support
Location: Epworth
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time
Are you passionate about encouraging children to stay active and enjoy physical education?
If so, GSL Education are seeking a motivated PE Support professional to assist schools in Epworth with delivering engaging and inclusive physical activities that promote fitness, teamwork, and wellbeing.
In this role, you will work alongside PE teachers and school staff to support pupils in developing their physical skills, encouraging participation, and fostering a positive attitude towards health and exercise.
Physical Education Support (PE Support) Responsibilities:
- Assist PE teachers in planning and delivering physical education lessons
- Support pupils during activities to develop their skills and confidence
- Help organise and run sports clubs, events, and extracurricular activities
- Encourage positive behaviour and teamwork during PE sessions
- Aid in setting up and maintaining sports equipment and facilities
- Promote safe practice and adherence to health and safety guidelines
PE Support Requirements:
- Experience supporting physical education or sports activities with children or young people
- A degree in Sports, Physical Education or a similar field is desirable.
- Good knowledge of a range of sports and physical education principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
- Relevant qualifications or coaching experience (desirable but not essential)
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
