Inspire Young Minds as a Full-Time PSHE Teacher in Winchester, Hampshire

GSL Education are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Winchester, Hampshire (SO21). This full-time position is set to begin in October 2025, with flexibility depending on the availability of the successful candidate. A permanent or fixed-term contract may be offered following a successful probation period.
Your Role and Responsibilities as PSHE Teacher:
- Deliver impactful PSHE lessons that promote emotional intelligence, resilience, and social awareness.
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and current societal issues.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support personal and academic growth.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities that promote student well-being.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality PSHE curriculum.
- Be a trusted adult for students, offering guidance and support when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of PSHE and its importance in secondary education.
- Previous experience teaching PSHE is desirable, but not essential—ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, empathy, and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for student well-being and holistic education.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
