Sports Coach
Location: Epworth
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dynamic Sports Coach to support schools in Epworth by delivering engaging, inclusive sports sessions that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence.
In this role, you will plan and lead a variety of sports activities tailored to students’ interests and abilities, encouraging participation and healthy lifestyles. You will work closely with school staff to help develop pupils’ skills, motivate positive behaviour, and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities of a Sports Coach:
- Deliver fun, safe, and inclusive sports coaching sessions for individuals and groups
- Develop tailored physical activity programmes to meet pupils’ needs and interests
- Promote teamwork, fair play, and healthy competition
- Support school sports days, clubs, and extracurricular activities
- Encourage positive behaviour and respect both on and off the field
- Assist in maintaining sports equipment and facilities
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to integrate sports within the school curriculum
Sports Coach Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or delivering sports activities to children or young people
- A degree in Sports, Physical Education or a similar field is desirable.
- Good knowledge of a variety of sports and physical education principles
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to inspire and engage pupils of all abilities
- Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
