Teaching Assistant
Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £83 - £100 per day

If so, we want you to join our dedicated team at an excellent Client Secondary School in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, to join asa Teaching Assistant, starting in September 2025.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to students with Special Educational Needs, working 1:1 or in small group.
- Assist students in accessing the full curriculum.
- Create and adapt learning materials that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
- Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, the Inclusion team, and parents to inform future planning.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and SEN support.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Proven experience working with SEN students, preferably within a secondary school setting.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, the Inclusion team, and other professionals to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
- A creative and energetic approach that engages and inspires students.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for a new one.
