PE Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £160 - £250 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Part Time, 2 days a week

GSL Education London Branch is currently looking for a passionate and experienced PE Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive girls' secondary school located in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a PE Teacher who wants to inspire, motivate, and support students in leading active and healthy lifestyles.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages participation in physical activities

  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive sporting attitudes

  • Organise extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and events

  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Work closely with colleagues to develop a strong PE curriculum

  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and discipline in all lessons

Requirements for a PE Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools

  • Strong knowledge of the national PE curriculum

  • A genuine passion for physical education and student wellbeing

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to inspire and motivate girls of all abilities to engage in sport and fitness

  • Availability to work 2 days per week from September 2025
