Salary Range: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in a specialist setting in Doncaster. This is an opportunity ideal for individuals with previous SEN experience who are looking to make a lasting difference in education.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
- Promoting pupil independence and positive behaviour both in and out of the classroom.
- Assisting students during lessons and facilitating access to learning activities.
- Building trusted relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
- Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and helping them develop social skills.
Skills & Requirements for SEN TA:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and positive under pressure.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and SEN best practices.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
