Job Title: EYFS Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary Range: £130 to £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a caring and creative Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher (EYFS) to join schools across Scunthorpe. Starting in September, we offer flexible day-to-day and long-term placements to suit your availability and career goals.

As an EYFS Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Supporting children’s development in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social and emotional skills.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress to inform teaching.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents to promote holistic development.
  • Encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence in every child.

Skills & Requirements for an EYFS Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young children and their families.
  • Effective behaviour management and communication skills.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years with any gaps clearly explained.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
