Job Title: KS2 Teacher
Location: Gainsborough
Salary Range: £130 to £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work within welcoming and vibrant primary schools across Gainsborough. Starting in September, we have flexible day-to-day as well as long-term opportunities suited to your skills and availability.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils develop academically and socially while preparing them for the transition to secondary education.

As a KS2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering well-structured and engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress to inform planning and interventions.
  • Promoting good behaviour, independent learning, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and leadership teams.
  • Encouraging pupil confidence, resilience, and curiosity for learning.

Skills & Requirements for a KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2 settings.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment framework.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years with any gaps explained.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
