SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £90 – £110 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming primary school in Littlehampton is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials as needed
- Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting inclusion
- Monitor pupil progress and help with personalised learning plans
- Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals
✅ Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language)
- A patient, nurturing and flexible approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting all learners
