Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S9
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join an inclusive school in Sheffield, where you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages that help students connect historical events to present-day issues, while fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities as History Teacher:
- Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned history lessons.
- Engage students with historical concepts, debates, and case studies.
- Promote literacy and critical thinking through historical analysis.
- Use assessment tools to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Support school events, enrichment activities, and cross-curricular learning.
Requirements for History Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong subject knowledge and passion for historical education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
