Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Crofton
Salary: £160 - £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Design and deliver personalised, engaging lessons for pupils with diverse SEN needs.
  • Create a calm, supportive classroom where each learner feels safe, respected, and understood.
  • Collaborate with TAs, parents, and specialists to tailor learning experiences.
  • Track and celebrate every bit of progress—no matter how big or small.
  • Encourage independence, build confidence, and nurture emotional well-being alongside academics.

Requirements of the SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in an SEN setting or strong SEN awareness.
  • A creative mindset, resilient attitude, and a heart for inclusion.
  • Knowledge of EHCPs, behaviour support strategies, and adaptive teaching.
  • Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
