Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Staveley
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Role Overview:
As a Sports Coach, you will be central to delivering engaging physical education sessions and sports activities, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love for fitness among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities tailored to diverse abilities and interests.
- Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and positive sportsmanship.
- Identify and nurture sporting talent, encouraging students to develop their skills and confidence.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where every student can participate and thrive.
- Support pupils in developing personal and social skills through sport, including leadership, resilience, and respect.
- Assist with organising school sports events and competitions, fostering community spirit and pride.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity into the wider curriculum.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sports Coach, PE Teacher, or similar role in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of a range of sports, fitness training methods, and PE curriculum.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching Certificate, PE-related degree) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills to engage students effectively.
- A passion for working with young people and encouraging holistic development.
- Ability to manage groups with confidence, energy, and authority.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
