About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you'll be a key player in shaping children's educational journeys! You'll team up with teachers to deliver personalised one-on-one and dynamic group support, guiding children to excel in their early learning and development. Your role will be diverse and engaging, from crafting captivating lesson materials to actively participating in classroom activities and offering valuable feedback on student progress. Key Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner (EYP)

  • Create tailored learning plans that address the specific needs of each child.
  • Help children improve their knowledge and skills using evidence-based strategies to support their understanding of various concepts.
  • Help children understand and engage with their studies, encouraging positive interactions and modeling appropriate behavior.
  • Track children's progress and any interventions used, providing regular updates to teachers, parents.
  • Ensure comprehensive support by working with counsellors, social workers to address the broader needs of children and their families.

Requirements of Early Years Practitioner (EYP)

  • Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
