Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Rate: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
- Support the creation and implementation of tailored IEPs aligned with individual student needs.
- Use varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles and maintain engagement.
- Monitor progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to aid student development.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
- Collaborate with staff to share strategies and ensure cohesive, inclusive learning.
- Offer targeted support to help students overcome academic and personal challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
Requirements of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
- Previous experience working in an SEN or mainstream school setting is highly desirable.
- A good understanding of SEN including autism, ADHD, speech and language, or SEMH.
- A caring, resilient, and proactive approach to working with vulnerable children.
- Ability to follow direction but also show initiative when supporting learning.
- A genuine passion for working with young learners and supporting their development.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
