Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Eastbourne is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality education and creating a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote pupil achievement.
  • Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing school development initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school (EYFS, KS1, or KS2 considered).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and a child-centred approach.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
