Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Bexhill
Salary: £140 - £180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

An outstanding vibrant school in Bexhill is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary SEN Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a teacher with a nurturing approach and experience in supporting pupils with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs.
Responsibilities of the Primary SEN Teacher:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN pupils.
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress against EHCP targets.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each child’s development.
- Implement behaviour strategies and promote emotional regulation.
- Contribute to wider school life and promote a sense of community and inclusion.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting.
- Strong understanding of a range of needs, including ASD, MLD, and SEMH.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches and resources to meet individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
