Job Role: Speech and Language Therapist
School: A secondary school in Newham
Rate: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum
Start Date: Sep 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking for a rewarding new role? GSL Education London Branch is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Newham. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

Assess and support students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs

Create and deliver tailored intervention programmes

Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO and parents to support student progress

Maintain accurate and detailed records of student development

Provide advice and training to staff on supporting students’ communication skills

Contribute to meetings and reviews for students with EHCPs
Requirements:

Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
-
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Previous experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in an educational setting is desirable

Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

Commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting students with diverse needs
