Role: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Basildon
Pay Rate: £120 – £230 per day
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic Food Technology Teachers to join progressive secondary schools in Basildon. If you’re passionate about nutrition, creativity, and preparing students with lifelong skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Teaching Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Encourage safe, hygienic practices in food preparation and cooking
• Support coursework and practical assessments
• Foster creativity and awareness of nutrition, health, and sustainability
• Maintain equipment, manage resources, and promote classroom safety
We’re Looking For:
• QTS/QTLS or strong experience in teaching Food Technology
• Sound subject knowledge and ability to inspire pupils of all abilities
• Excellent communication and classroom management
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
