Role: Science Teacher
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Pay Rate: £120 – £230 per day
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education is currently looking for engaging and enthusiastic Science Teachers to join our secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea. This role offers the chance to ignite a passion for science and critical thinking in young learners.
Main Duties:
• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare and assess students for GCSEs and internal exams
• Promote enquiry-based learning and scientific exploration
• Use practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance understanding
• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school improvement
Requirements:
• QTS/QTLS and experience teaching secondary science
• Excellent subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
