Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £94 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead pre-prepared lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning. You will help maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere across a variety of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise full classes in the absence of a regular classroom teacher

  • Deliver and manage pre-set lesson materials

  • Maintain classroom order and ensure pupils follow school expectations

  • Manage behaviour effectively and encourage student participation

  • Record attendance and report on pupil engagement

  • Provide support and guidance to students where needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Confidence to lead secondary-aged pupils independently

  • A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
