GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Poole, working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant (TA) in EYFS, you’ll play a key role in nurturing and guiding young learners during their foundational school years. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to support daily routines, learning activities, and the overall development of the children.
Your responsibilities as Teaching Assistant (TA) will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
- Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to children with varying needs.
- Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development through play and structured activities.
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom setting.
Who We’re Looking in Teaching Assistant (TA)
We welcome applications from individuals who have:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in nursery settings, as sports coaches, or in other child-focused roles.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and development.
- Availability for full-time work starting in September.
