Secondary Teaching Assistant – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £85 – £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Doncaster. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students remain focused and progress.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across a variety of subjects.

Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural needs, or additional learning requirements.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence in their learning.

Supervise students during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and school activities as required.
Requirements:

Experience working with young people in a secondary school or similar setting.

A good understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management strategies is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
