As a General Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for 

delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups. You will be expected to manage behaviour, support student learning, and ensure a calm, purposeful classroom environment. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and adaptability in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Adapt to different classroom environments and school routines.

  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Engage students to ensure learning objectives are met.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and class activity.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Adaptable, flexible, and proactive in approach.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • A full employment history with references covering the last two years.
