️ Computer Science Teacher – Secondary School – Reading
Are you a passionate and tech-savvy Computer Science teacher looking to inspire the next generation of coders and innovators?
We are working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Reading that is seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position, open to both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with a relevant degree and a flair for engaging learners in the digital world.
Role and Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Prepare students for GCSE assessments and support with coursework

Foster curiosity in programming, cybersecurity, and digital literacy

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and computing trends

Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities (e.g. coding clubs, STEM events)
✅ Requirements:

UK QTS or relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/SCITT)

Specialism or strong background in Computer Science or ICT
-
Proven classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction

Strong communication skills and a passion for digital education
