Key responsibilities of the Head of Geography:

  • Deliver engaging geography lessons to KS3–KS5 students

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Geography teachers

  • Analyse data and implement strategies to raise attainment

  • Drive curriculum development in line with national standards

  • Promote a love of geography through enrichment and cross-curricular learning

What you need to apply:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – essential

  • Experience teaching Geography to KS4/KS5 – essential

  • Previous responsibility or leadership experience – highly desirable

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Ambition, initiative, and a passion for geography education
