Key responsibilities of the Head of Geography:

Deliver engaging geography lessons to KS3–KS5 students

Lead, mentor and develop a team of Geography teachers

Analyse data and implement strategies to raise attainment

Drive curriculum development in line with national standards

Promote a love of geography through enrichment and cross-curricular learning
What you need to apply:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – essential

Experience teaching Geography to KS4/KS5 – essential

Previous responsibility or leadership experience – highly desirable

Strong classroom and behaviour management
