Role: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Braintree
Pay Rate: £90 – £130 per day
Start Date: September 2025

Support Behaviour and Build Confidence as a Behaviour Support Assistant – Braintree

GSL Education is currently recruiting for Behaviour Support Assistant to work in schools in Braintree. This role suits someone who is calm under pressure and passionate about helping students succeed.

Your Role Will Include:
• Provide direct support to students with behavioural, emotional, or mental health needs
• Assist with de-escalation and behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with the SEN and pastoral teams
• Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
• Help create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning space

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting young people with SEMH or behaviour challenges
• Confident and consistent in approach
• Resilient and empathetic with strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
