Role: Learning Support Assistant – SEN School
Location: Colchester
Pay Rate: £88.92–£110per day
Start Date: September 2025

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
• Work under the direction of the class teacher to adapt resources and instruction
• Build trusting relationships that help learners feel secure and confident
• Reinforce learning through structured activities and consistent routines
• Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional regulation

Who We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school or care-based setting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with learners
• A flexible, proactive approach and a strong sense of empathy
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
