Location: Poole
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

As a Disability Support Assistant, your responsibilities will be:
- Support students with a range of physical, learning, or sensory disabilities on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Assist in the delivery of individual education plans and therapy programmes.
- Promote independence, engagement, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.
- Support with mobility and personal care tasks, where required.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
Disability Support Assistant Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs.
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance, Health & Social Care, or a relevant qualification is desirable.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow guidance from teaching and therapy professionals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

- Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
