Job Title: Primary Teacher – KS1 or KS2
Location: St Leonards
Salary: £120 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Primary Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school in St Leonards from September. Whether your expertise lies in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, the school is open to placing you where your strengths can best support pupils' progress.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team and a school that values both personal and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
- Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child thrives.
- Support the overall school community and promote a positive, inclusive environment.
Requirements for Primary teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Have experience teaching in a primary setting (KS1 or KS2).
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be committed to providing a supportive and stimulating learning experience.
- Have a full, up-to-date CV (with explanations for any gaps) and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
