Job Title: SEN Teacher – Behaviour & Communication
Location: Newhaven
Salary: £120 – £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Role Overview:
As a SEN Teacher focusing on Behaviour and Communication, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and work closely with a team of professionals to ensure every student thrives both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons that support students with behavioural and communication challenges.
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through consistent and compassionate approaches.
- Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with students with behavioural and communication needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
- A full ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic role.
