Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time/ Part Time

GSL Education are recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in a friendly and inclusive school in Rotherham. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and is looking to make a genuine impact in their early education journey.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with class teachers to provide support across all areas of the primary curriculum. From assisting with lessons to offering one-to-one guidance, your support will help create a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
Responsibilities for Primary TA:
- Assist teachers in delivering planned lessons effectively.
- Provide individual and small-group support where needed.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and routines.
- Encourage active participation and confidence in pupils.
- Support the emotional and academic development of children.
Requirements for Primary TA We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based or voluntary).
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid, up-to-date CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
