SEMH Teaching Assistant – Specialist Secondary School | Havant
Hourly Rate: £13.08 – £15.00
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and student-focused team at a specialist school in Havant, catering for boys aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing, therapeutic setting where each pupil is supported to overcome barriers to learning caused by emotional and behavioural challenges such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and more.

SEMH Teaching Assistant – Specialist Secondary School | Havant

What You’ll Be Doing as a SEMH Teaching Assistant:

  • Supporting the delivery of a personalised, broad curriculum
  • Assisting students with emotional regulation and modelling positive behaviours
  • Helping young people build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills
  • Collaborating with teachers and therapists to meet individual EHCP targets
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
