Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £120–£140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As an ECT, you will be supported in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire learners and promote academic and personal growth. You’ll work alongside experienced educators who are committed to helping you thrive in your teaching career.

Key Responsibilities of Early Career Teacher (ECT):

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your approach to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, resilience, and high expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support student development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values.

Requirements for Early Career Teacher (ECT):

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending award.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A current CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
