Salary: £120–£180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Louth. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will foster a supportive and stimulating environment where children feel confident, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and resilience.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure holistic development.
  • Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
  • Inspire a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.

Primary Teacher Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2).
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach to classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
