About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of pupils across various year groups. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love for learning and support children in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic lessons tailored to the needs of primary-aged pupils.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using effective differentiation and intervention strategies.
  • Employ creative teaching methods to engage pupils and enhance their learning experiences.
  • Implement positive behaviour management techniques to support pupil engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support holistic pupil development.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, staff meetings, and initiatives to contribute to the school community.

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in primary settings.
  • Have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire young learners.
  • Be committed to raising pupil attainment through innovative and inclusive teaching.
  • Have experience working with pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
  • Be available full-time and enthusiastic about contributing to school life.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
