Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Cleethorpes
Salary: £120 – £140 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and driven ECTs to join well-respected schools across Cleethorpes. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your teaching practice through structured support and hands-on experience in a variety of classroom settings.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons that engage pupils and promote their academic and social development. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will be supported through your statutory induction period and encouraged to contribute positively to the school’s ethos and community.
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), yourresponsibilities will be:
- Design and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of diverse pupils, including those with additional needs
- Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches as necessary
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Engage fully with the Early Career Framework and participate in professional development
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance pupil outcomes
- Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies and ensure pupil welfare at all times
Early Career Teacher Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) attained within the last two years
- Commitment to the Early Career Framework and ongoing professional growth
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young learners
- Experience or understanding of UK primary school teaching standards
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to undergo checks
