- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other support staff to provide holistic support for each learner.
- Monitor and assess student progress, setting achievable goals and celebrating every success.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students’ wider development.
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school environment where all students can feel valued and respected.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching or supporting students with SEMH needs within a specialist or mainstream setting.
- Strong knowledge of strategies to support social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that meets diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach.
- Resilience, flexibility, and an unwavering commitment to student welfare.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
What We Offer:

- Personalised support from a dedicated consultant passionate about your career growth.
- Opportunities to work in supportive, forward-thinking environments focused on student well-being.
- The chance to truly make a difference in young people’s lives, helping them find hope and a sense of belonging.
If you’re ready to empower young people facing challenges and help them believe in themselves again, we would love to hear from you.
