Rewarding Opportunity: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth

GSL Education are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time role begins in September 2025, offering a chance to work 1:1 with pupils who have Autism and behavioural needs. About the Role
This fulfilling position involves working 1:1 with three different children across the school day, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include:
- Individualised Support: Work closely with pupils to implement strategies that support their learning and behaviour
- Autism-Focused Approach: Use your experience to create a calm, structured, and supportive environment
- Collaborative Practice: Partner with class teachers and SENCO to adapt learning activities and monitor progress
- Positive Relationships: Build trust and consistency with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence
- Ongoing Development: Access training and professional growth opportunities through GSL Education
