Full-Time Mainstream Primary Teacher – Year 1 Class – Primary School in Bournemouth
GSL Education are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mainstream Primary Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position is within a Year 1 class and is set to commence in September 2025.
The school is seeking a committed educator with at least one year of experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1), who is passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils.
- Plan and implement differentiated learning activities aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in primary education.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year’s experience teaching within KS1.
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps).
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
