GSL Education are excited to be partnering with an inclusive school in Southampton, offering an outstanding opportunity for a bright and dedicated graduate to join their team as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.


In this Teaching Assistant position, you'll work alongside experienced teachers and SEN specialists to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities of Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Supporting teachers to adapt lessons to individual needs
  • Helping pupils build confidence, social skills, and resilience
  • Playing an active role in creating a safe, engaging learning environment

Who We're Looking For

  • Graduates with a desire to explore a career in education
  • Experience in learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties, psychology, youth/community work, mentoring, or care work (preferred but not required)
  • Core subject degrees such as Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, or PE (for aspiring teachers)
