Rate: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a nurturing SEN school in Mansfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Support Individual Learning Plans: Assist in developing and implementing tailored education plans for students with SEN.
- Provide Targeted Support: Deliver one-on-one and small group support to meet individual learning needs.
- Monitor Progress: Track student development and adapt support strategies to ensure continued progress.
- Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
- Foster a Positive Environment: Help create a classroom culture where all students feel safe, respected, and encouraged.
- Engage and Motivate: Use creative and adaptive methods to inspire students and support their learning journey.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of student progress, observations, and feedback for ongoing assessment.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Experience: Previous experience supporting students with SEN is essential.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN, with patience and empathy.
- Qualifications: Relevant SEN training or qualifications are desirable but not essential.

- Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
