Psychology Graduate
Location: Derby
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

We are inviting applications from Psychology graduates looking to build hands-on experience in education by working with schools in Derby.
Whether you're aiming to become an educational psychologist, teacher or support worker, this role offers the perfect starting point.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with pupils, including those with additional needs, and contribute to their academic and emotional development. A background in volunteering or working with children is helpful, but full support is provided to those eager to learn and make a difference.
Responsibilities of a Psychology Graduate:
- Support pupils with a range of educational and emotional needs in mainstream and SEN settings
- Assist teaching staff and SENCOs in delivering targeted support
- Engage with pupils in one-to-one and small group sessions
- Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to school activities and support the wider educational team
- Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies
Requirements:
- A recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related discipline
- A passion or proven experience in working with children and young people is desirable
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within an educational setting
- Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential
- Up-to-date CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
