Psychology Graduate
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

We are looking for Psychology graduates who are keen to gain experience in education by supporting students across schools in Nottingham. This role is ideal for graduates interested in a future career in educational psychology, teaching, or mental health support.

You will be working alongside experienced educators, supporting children with a range of needs in both mainstream and SEN settings. While previous experience working with young people is a bonus, it’s your enthusiasm, empathy, and willingness to learn that will set you apart.

Psychology Graduate Responsibilities:

  • Support students with varying needs in mainstream and SEN schools
  • Assist educators in implementing learning and behaviour support strategies
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing
  • Engage with pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
  • Maintain safeguarding and child protection standards at all times

Requirements for the Role:

  • A recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field
  • Passion for working with children and young people
  • Previously working with children or young people in a school setting or leadership role is desirable but not essential
  • Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within an education or mental health setting
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
